After a brilliant few weeks in Canterbury, we’re now at the Bristol Hippodrome until 11th November, our second venue of the tour.
Opening night was a great success, with a special speech from Tom Morris to celebrate 10 years of War Horse – “Don’t forget the importance of storytelling in your lives. The horse that moved you this evening wasn’t a real horse. You imagined, you created from your memories. On stage our job is to be as creative as we can. But unless you in the audience are creative, noting can happen at all. The puppet isn’t alive until you the audience make it alive. It’s important to remember that because it shows every single person in this auditorium, in this city, in this country has creativity.”
The show is receiving brilliant reviews from the local press:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “10 years on, the magic of War Horse shows no signs of fading.” – Bristol Post
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “War Horse is nothing short of a phenomenon.” – Broadway World
“A galloping triumph.” – Wiltshire Times
“Perfect puppetry steals the show.” – Western Daily Press
