Associate Director
Charlotte Peters is Associate Director (Tour) on Stephen Daldry’s An Inspector Calls, currently on UK/US Tour and recently directed the national tour of Rachel Wagstaff’s adaptation of Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks. She is Artistic Director of Brickdust and will be directing their upcoming tour of By My Strength.
Recent directing work includes: Timeless at N16; Sunday Night at the Musicals at Leicester Haymarket and St Paul’s Church, EdFringe: The Musical Revue at Edinburgh Festival Fringe; The Mouth of a Shark at VAULT Festival; Caste at the Finborough; Constellations at The Bread and Roses Theatre; By My Strength for the Women and War Festival; shorts at the Arcola, Park Theatre, the Old Red Lion, The Vaults, Camden People’s Theatre and Manchester’s 53two; Cinderella at Manchester Winter Wonderland; Jog On showcase at Soho Theatre and Blackpool Winter Gardens; How to Make Money from Art at Camden Fringe; Fame for Tallink & Silja, Scandinavia; And the Little One Said at the Cock Tavern; Art and What the Butler Saw at Edinburgh Festival Fringe; and Around the World in 80 Days on an open-air tour.
Charlotte was Resident Director of War Horse for the National Theatre throughout its 2017-2018 UK tour. Other work as resident/assistant director includes: An Inspector Calls (West End and UK Tour), Only the Brave at Wales Millennium Centre; I’m Not Here Right Now at Soho Theatre and at Edinburgh Festival Fringe; and Aladdin and Jack and the Beanstalk at Theatre Royal Windsor, where she was also associate director of The Importance of Being Earnest, The Musical.
As an Associate of Original Theatre Company, Charlotte is responsible for their literary panel and was associate director on the UK tour of The Private Ear/The Public Eye and national tours of Birdsong.
