Johanna Coe’s recent costume designs for theatre include Ugly Lies the Bone at the National; Stella at
Brighton festival and Hoxton Hall; End Game at Donmar Warehouse; and Der Lesser, Das Tier und die
Bucklige at Heidelberg Ballet. Associate costume design work includes The Caucasian Chalk Circle and War Horse (also in West End, UK tour, and in New York, LA, Toronto, Sydney, Berlin, Amsterdam and China) for the National; and This House at Chichester and in the West End. She has worked extensively as costume supervisor on many productions including Cameron Mackintosh’s original Phantom of the Opera and Aspects of Love for The Really Useful Group. Her work in opera includes Katya Kabanowa, The Tales of Hoffman, Der Rosen Kavalier and Carmen for the Royal Opera House. TV includes The Sound of Music Live (costume supervisor) and Harlots for Hulu and ITV Encore.
